Invoices and payments
Sending an invoice
Choosing what prints, emailing it from BidWrap, or sending it yourself.
1. Choose what prints
- Open the invoice.
- In Bank account and what prints, check the Bank account printed.
- Untick Show every line to print the heading totals only.
- Tick or untick Include terms and conditions and Show logo.
- Click Save these choices.
- Your Invoice terms always print above the bank details.
- Your full Terms and conditions print at the end when Include terms and conditions is ticked.
- Both come from Settings → Documents → Terms and wording, for the job’s business name. See Terms and wording.
- Once the invoice is sent, it keeps the wording it went out with. To give it your current wording, click More, beside PDF, then Use the current wording.

2. Email it
- Scroll to Email to the client.
- In To, start typing a name or address and choose from the list.
- Check the subject and the message.
- Leave Attach the PDF ticked to attach it.
- Click Send invoice.
Sending marks the invoice as sent and fixes its dates, total and wording. The job becomes Invoiced. The client gets a link to the invoice online, with your bank details and a Download PDF button. You see when they first open it.
Or send it yourself
Use PDF at the top of the invoice, or Client page and Copy client link under More, then click Mark as sent.
TipReminders are only sent for invoices emailed from BidWrap, because BidWrap needs to know the address to send them to.
